The six acre Ecotel site was originally the Kianga dairy farm and encompasses the beautiful bush setting of Bellbird Hill with expansive views over the Inlet, Narooma and the Pacific Ocean. We took on the motel over ten years ago changing its name to Ecotel Narooma. We took the ‘TEL’ from motel and the ‘ECO’ from ECOlogical and ECOnomic leaving us with ECOTEL!
We have rooms to suit individuals, couples, families and groups at affordable prices. All rooms have expansive views from large picture windows, TV, fan, iron and board. Rooms have a kitchenette with kettle, toaster, tea and coffee. Microwaves or hotplate and pans are available on request. A BBQ with tables and chairs are out under our magnificent jacaranda tree.  Where ever possible we use local produce so for tea and coffee we will supply local milk from the Bodalla/Tilba dairy. Lemon in your tea? Pick your own from our lemon trees. The soap in your room is locally made goat’s milk soap. (if you would like to take some home we sell it in Reception.)

Explore our vegetable and flower gardens; use the pool (seasonal); feed the hens; find out more about our ECO practices. You may like to participate in some of the workshops, courses and weekly groups held in the original farmhouse (1901cc). These cover such diverse interests as cheese making, permaculture, belly dancing, health & wellbeing, creative writing, yoga and much more.
Best of all from our back gate it is only a few minutes walk to the famous Narooma Boardwalk and then on to Apex Park and the beach or along the inlet into town. For those of you who have boats there is ample parking (short or long term) and easy back gate access to the Apex Park public jetty. We look forward to welcoming you at our friendly ‘motel with a difference’.
