Tilba Easter Festival
Saturday, 20th of April, 2019
9 AM – 4 PM

Easter Saturday is the one day each year when Bate Street is closed to traffic and open to a huge array of culture and festivities.

A unique festival, with entertainment & activities to suit all tastes, including Town Criers, hilarious street games with prizes, live music on 3 different stages, roaming street performers, Producers hall showcasing local produce, market stalls & delicious food and a fabulous parade.

This all happens in the magical setting of Central Tilba’s main street and its 100 year old, colourful weather board buildings.  The entire village, and surrounding lush volcanic farmland rolling down to the ocean, have been protected by the National Trust.  Beautiful Mt Dromedary or “Gulaga – the Mother Mountain”, towers up 800 metres behind the village, and is widely known for its pristine rain forests and aboriginal sacred sites.
